Exterior Shades

Many times it is more conducive to have the shades installed on the exterior rather than the interior. If you already have blinds or plantation shutters inside but need something better for heat rejection, or simply want to reduce glare without losing your view, then exterior shades can be the answer for you. By placing them on the outside you also gain the benefit of greater heat rejection. Due to the wind in some areas we highly encourage you to look at our Shy Zip System page and see the advantage of having the fabrics locked into a channel to prevent wind damage.

All of our shades can be motorized and have either a wall switch or remote. Please visit our motors/controls page for more details. Depending on the setting, we frequently have installed these shades in a stationary frame to match your existing window frame as seen in the picture just above on the left, they are easy to remove for cleaning the window. There is several fabrics to choose from that are vinyl coated to withstand the harsh weather conditions. The fabric will last approximately 15 years.

Please call Precision Film and we will answer any questions you might have or for those in the Denver area you can schedule an appointment for an in-home consultation.
