Warranties on Vista & LLumar window film and Insolroll shades

Precision has hand picked the products we carry due to not only quality of production, but also by the warranty that the manufacturer is willing to stand behind for our customers. (The Gold Residential Warranty is for home owners that still have a window manufacturer warranty in effect, we will replace that warranty for the same term that is still remaining. Some window manufacturers will void their warranty if they feel the window has been tampered with.)

Vista Residential Warranty- The coverage on the film is lifetime and covers the following items: crazing, peeling, demetalizing, bubbling, delamination, or discoloring when installed by a certified Vista Film installer according to manufacturers glass recommendation's.

The manufacturer of the film also warrants against any seal failure of window for a period of 36 months if covered by the original seal unit manufacturer. Included in this coverage is a thermal fracture of glass for a period of 60 months.

Both seal failure and thermal fracture warranties are from the time of original installation. The replacement cost is limited to a value of up to $500 (U.S.) per window of said glass caused solely as a direct result of the application of the Vista Solar control window film. There is a deductible of $25 (U.S.) or 5% of the replacement cost.

Gold Residential Warranty - The manufacturer agrees to match the terms and conditions of the existing in force manufacturer's glass warranty. The warranty will apply to only the windows that a Vista Film solar control has been applied. Proof must be provided of the existing warranty before Gold warranty will be issued. Charge for the Gold warranty is in the amount of $ .35 per square foot.

Commercial Film Warranty - The manufacturer warrants a commercial application of solar control films for 7-15 yrs., depending on which film is installed.

There is a deductible of $25 (U.S.) or 5% of the replacement cost, whichever is greater, for small commercial installations. The deductible for commercial installation over 2500 sq. ft. is $100 (U.S.) or 5% of the replacement cost, whichever is greater.

Insolroll Solar Shade Warranty -

All Insolroll manufactured products, including hardware, fabric, and motors are warranted for a period of five (5) years from the manufactured date against defects in materials and workmanship. Fabrics are warranted against rot, mildew and seam failure. Warranty excludes damage due to exposure to salt water, gradual fading and normal wear. Electrical switching and control components are warranted for one (1) year.

This warranty does not cover any product, which fails due to accident, alterations, misuse, abuse, neglect, acts of nature, improper handling, installation or maintenance of the product or failure to follow instructions for installing or operating the product. The Insolroll warranty is valid only for products owned by original purchaser and installed in the original installed location.

At its option, Insolroll will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any product, which fails to conform to this warranty. This shall be the sole remedy of the buyer under this warranty. In no event shall Insolroll be liable for transportation costs to return the product, costs of removal or reinstallation of the product or incidental or consequential damages. Any alteration or repair that is not performed or authorized by Insolroll will void this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion of consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
